transfer information

have old computer running on windows me bought memory stick to transfer data to lap top working on windows vista old system doesnt seem to know what memory stick is although registers it in usb port maybe operator does not know what to do anybody talk me step by step how it works plse.

i had similar prob and tried a different usb port and it worked

me shouldn't require drivers - but if a different port doesn't work ... (it could take a few minutes to detect and load)
check the mfrs website for a driver or fix.
