parking tickets

I had a parking ticket the other day. The registration of car was correct but the make and model of the car was totally wrong. Is the ticket valid?

there was a guy next door to me got stopped for drink driving and the same thing applied to him wrong make and model and he got away with it, so you have got a chance

Go to court and say that the warden has made a mistake which is obvious, therefore he/she may well have made another mistake in the times or day or lines or whatever. Unsafe your worship to proceed methinks.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it won't go to court. Parking was decriminalised in 2001/2.

Technically speaking, if the ticket states (for example) that a Renault Megane was the car in question but your car is actually a Ford Focus, you have no case to answer. The wrong car has been recorded as having been the offending vehicle. I successfully appealed a ticket two years ago on the basis that the warden had recorded my car's colour as "grey" when it was in fact blue, so i don't think you'll have any diificulty. Simply go to your council's website and take it from there.

abjumalid ,,, is right , it wont go to court , not in the magistrates court ,,,, if you dont pay within "specified " , time ........ the Council get it processed , through COUNTY COURT (in the EAST midlands ...which deals with this for the whole country ) .... and then they can get it passed on too bailiffs ,,,,,,,, the bailiffs paperwork regarding unpaid parking tickets ,,, always have REG NO- of your vehicle ,,, that is enough fr the bailiffs information and your address and name details ,,,,,,,, "the ticket may not be valid 2 , but it wont be easy, to get this "ticket dropped " .... - 6 of one , and half a dozen of the others ,,
