will a glass or two of wine most nights really ruin my diet? i eat so healthly but cannot give up my vino? is it so bad for me? it just helps me chill a little.:)

No reason to stop the vino, just up the exercise to counter it out.White wine less calories than red though.
Well depending on the glass size you could be doing your insides some damage rather than your diet.

That said, if you exercise too it might be ok but when I stopped drinking the same amount early last year I did loose weight. So yes, it does make a difference.
Yes, you are so right, alcohol helps us chill, it helps us relax, it is more a good thing than a bad one.

However, you will have to cope with the usual Oh dear are you drinking more than 21 units per week !!? Oh dear shame and how awful. Get a checkout, eat more fibre, get down the gym, all the rest of the bollox.

My grandad drunk 21 units per day, minimum, he died at the age of 76. Trying to cope with the loss of his beloved wife, he managed to achieve some solace in the bottle, and I do not judge him one iota. There but for the grace of God.

Exactly a lot of a little of what you like does no harm.
