I have two sound cards in my pc, how do you get them both to be able to work at the same time or is my pc just not good enough? Because they both work but i can only get one of them to work at once somebody please help me before i stick my head in this monitor! If you need more information to help me out please ask, cheers, Gray. Happy new year everyone.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I have the 'traktor dj studio' program for which 2 sound cards (or a really good one) is required in order to have one channel playing through the speakers and one through the headphones, but the options menu only lets me choose one or the other, and still plays through the most recently installed one regardless of which sound card i choose. Surely you can use a single 4.1 channel sound card and connect your speakers to the front speaker socket and the headphones to the rear (background) speaker socket. I picked up a brand new Hercules Muse LT card on Ebay a few months ago for 99p which would fit the bill. As Buttons said two cards are not advisable and surely will conflict with each other especially if they use different drivers.
