What breaks do you get in work

and what do you do in them?

Me, I get a 10 min break every hour to give my eyes a rest. I usually run to the loo or have a quick peak in a mag, maybe grab a coffee then i get an hour for lunch.

We don't get any set breaks!!!

But I make sure I am up and about regularly with runs to the loo, coffee machine and circulating the office!!!!

I forgot to mention lunch, as we are on flexi time we can take up to 2 hours for lunch!!!

But I normally take half an hour, unless I am shopping!!

That way I can build up my hours to have a day off!!!!

10 MINUTES VERY HOUR?! Thats amazing...!

I work 9-5.30 with just a 1 hour lunch break.

No set breaks but it's not frowned upon to go for a cigarette/coffee/natter to someone else on another floor whenever you want.

An hour for lunch.

and that's all we take
for a cup of cold coffee
and a slice of cake

we get 1hr lunch, and as many break as we want, but that tends to be for the smokers who have to walk up the road for a fag.

yeah, you know the smokers, as soon as the buzzer goes they're off running down 10 flights of stairs for their fix, they get the lift back up though lol

Joe, I always imagine snooker halls to be cigarette smoke filled (Maybe I've just watched Colour of Money too often). Is my perception accurate pre ban? If so, did you notice a massive decline in members post ban?

Hi funnygirl. I work in a call centre. They introduced the buzzer system for insurance purposes, we have to by law take a 10 break every hour and that was the best way to get everyones attention when to take the break.

We do 8 hour shifts and have to work for at least one of those hours lol
