No - had a mad spell this afternoon and changed all the bedlinen. It's spattered with rain on and off, so I bunged as much as I could into the td and the last load went in a bit ago. I don't think some of the sheets are supposed to go in on a hot setting, because the smell was wafting down towards me - from three rooms away!!!

Why didnt I think of that -except youre liable to get a firewoman (all power to them and all that but not as hunky !!)

J -(daughter) set my bedroom on fire a few years back -I had all the scented candles and oil burners going for H coming home from his trip -next thing -MUM !!! -I ran through and the bloody flames were licking the ceiling -wont go deeply into that story altho its a good one- no-one was hurt except me -BUT the Firies who came out were the ones we drank with Friday teatime in the pub -and when I was shown how lucky I had been -like opening my bedisde cabinet and nothing had m**ted and the ** **lly was still intact I was mortified think they did it for a laugh -************ fancy a firie tho -and can still look them in the face lol!!!

Mwhahaha!!!! It was a different kettle of fish (FISH????) when my youngest decided to play with lighting candles in his bedroom, about 3 years ago. He carefully lit a candle from an open fire (horrors!), carried it upstrairs...and the next thing you know, we could smell smoke. The end result was that the bed caught on fire - a very scary time. The hunks who came to put it out were very good, but it reminded me to be extra cautious, so even though there's been nothing like it since, we have an annual fire check anyway. Do you blame me dris? It's the uniforms.......!!!! x

We were just thankful it was only the bed - and the rug...and....that caught on fire!
