Im currently selling something on ebay (ink cartridges) and some guy keeps emailing me and hassling me about the size in ml. I keep telling him that there is no size stated on tghe box, which he thinks is hard to believe. I have told him that if he is unsure he should retract his bid. Is there any way of me stopping this guy from bidding, coz I know that if he wins the bid he will moan about something

I'm sure Ethel will fill you in lol

As a seller you can withdraw peoples bids I think, for example if you state no-one with less than 10 positives can bids then someone with 0 does.
yes there is spaced, if you go to ebay help, -seller account, you will find a list, a long one i grant you, but it is in there,

remember that now, you as a seller can't leave a negative feedback now, but the buyer can, so it may be well worth discussing with him, to not bid any further, and if no one else bids above him, do shill bid and buy it yourself, I know this sounds stupid beyond belief, but it could save you a lot of hassle,
hope this helps.
Funny thing there spaced i have just looked through all my ink carts, and I do litterally have dozens of all different makes, and none state ink capacity, which is rather unusual in this day and age, don't you think, ?
Not really, as they are all a certain size in order to fit in the printer. Why would you need to know the ml of the cartridge? Seem pretty trivial to me.

this guy is being a total n0bjockey and he is trying my patience. I have told him to retract his bid if he's unsure as I dont offer a return policy.

Thanks for the advice Gerroff and I totally agree with the sizes, very strange but very trivial.
I agree with squarebear, I bought some a couple of weeks ago for a lexmark printer, as far as i am aware cartridges are a standard size and you cant get small, medium or large.

Just tell him to stop being an ar5e and if he persists withdraw the bid.
Iff you go to sellers account,/ help/ type how to remove a bidder, you will get a 42 item list, this is one of them.

Managing Bidders and Buyers (Preapprove, Block Buyers or Cancel ...
... Click the Submit button. To remove a bidder/buyer from your blocked list, delete
the User ID (s) in the text box and click the Submit button. ...
Tell him to fook off and report him to the ebay moderators

They are somewhat sharper than the AB mods!
Question Author
i found that Gerroff but as he has already bidded, will it remove his bid? Someone bidded before him, so I assume it goes back to that person? 3 days to go
space make a note of his user name
then go to your ebay
then site map
click on manage bidders
buyer bidder managment
2nd down on list , buyer bidder managment
blocked bidders / buyers list
click on add an ebay member to my blocked bidder buyer list.
add his user name .you can add or remove anytime
hope this helps
when you remove his bid just say that you were unable to contact by email bid will go back down to the last bidder
HEY yay that's better still pusspuss
just been thinking, if all the aforesaid happens, and the bid goes back to a person who bid three days earlier, is that bidder obliged to honour the bid, as he could ,quite rightly ,ithink, say well I was outbid and bought elsewhere.

cheers guys! You might have a point Gerroff. There are 2 watchers so im kinda hoping one bids over him.
I'll bid higher than the guy you don't want to sell to, then at the end of the bid, go to the next person and offer it to them (if you're happy with their bid).
