For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I received my quiz sheet back today and was mystified by the system of marking. You say that multiple answers were accepable as long as the right one was included somewhere. The only one I got 'wrong' was a simile -
as - - - - as - - - -. Lots of answers fitted, I only submitted one and it didn't agree with your answer but that doesn't make it wrong.
I assume the number of dots were supposed to represent the letters in the missing words and yet you allowed answers like quietly/softly which have a different number of letters. I just feel you need a bit more consistency in your marking.
