Can anyone tell me how long someone with a cold remains infectious - thank you.

well depends on you immune system really but they should only normaly last 2/3 weeks.

I was wondering the same, as my cold has now lasted 5 days but can someone still catch it?

I read somewhere a cold is only infectious for three day`s and is spread through the hands more than through the air, so always wash your hands regularly if you sneeze into them to prevent passing it on to anyone else.
