FAO Lankeela ( again! )
2 Answers
Hi Lankeela, I left a couple of messages for you on Chatterbank but you obviously didn't see them. All I wanted to know was how you got on with the show? I came up on Sunday night I thought I would introduce myself and meet your Heelers, one of my favourite breeds but when I got to the gates they wouldn't let anyone in. I was really mad because for some years I've gone up there on a Sunday night, they said it was something to do with health and safety ( again! ). Anyway Monday was out because I couldn't manage the hill, Sunday I could park in the road. Hope it went okay for you, wasn't it an awful day! Hopefully if I'm still around I'll see you next year.

I know there was a problem letting people in, and one woman who was an official was getting loads of phone calls on her mobile because the number had been published somewhere.
Apparently the locals were up in arms at not being let in, but as you say they had closed the gates.
We had a good show, although once again it rained nonstop, so next year it will be third time lucky hopefully.
Had a better day on the Wednesday at Guildford Canine Society Open Show, where it only rained on and off!
