just been to tescos and bought a loaf of warburtons bread, last week was 1.16 this week 1.29! how can they justify that amount???? good job i dont eat it much but hubby has it for his sarnies at work
Wasn't it predicted last year that food prices would go up due to the bad weather conditions we had?.....The grain crops were most affected>>>>>grain is the basis for bread and the feed for chickens..therefore the prices for those items are up.And Margo is right-make your own...either by hand or with a breadmaker...there is nothing like it!
I don't eat much either, gina, but a breadmaker's the best idea, now that shop loaves've increased in price. In an hour, you can have some beautiful stuff, that i'm sure your husband'd like.
Jug's is right (she taught me most of what I know). If you get one you will eat a lorra bread. Best buy I ever made (after my digi video recorder thingie). It's the best thing sinced sliced breadmakers.
