Argh...originally posted in B&S by mistake (slapped wrist for me!)...

When was the last time you:

1. Handwrote a personal letter to someone and posted it.

2. Used a local greengrocer/butcher etc... rather than a big supermarket or chain.

3. Spoke to your neighbours.

4. Used the buttons on the TV (etc...) rather than the remote control.

5. Baked something.

6. Did something else people don't tend to do so much anymore.

1. Sadly, a long time ago. Keep saying I'll do it, have'nt done so far. I have a friend in Florida who I email, imagine the joy of recieving a hand written letter! You made me think! xxx

I used to send so many handwritten letters and loved receiving them.

My brother's girlfriend and her family send lots of thank you cards and letters so it's always such a lovely surprise and I always keep them. Maybe still big in Canada and USA.

It'd so nice to have something like that in my letterbox other than bank statement, bills and junk mail, definitely need to get my writing stuff out.

2. all the time fantastic farm shop in the countryside round corner from our house. and same for butchers (awards winning meat!!)

1) Today, and another one in the week. It was to thank some relatives for their help.
2) I use a local cheese shop, but we grow mostr of our own fruit and veg.

4) Scarcely watch the TV.
