I want to do a 3 day detox after a Xmas of excessive food & drink. Can anyone please give me ANY advice on how to go about it, how I will feel after etc or where I can find more info?

Thank you in advance.

how about flushing your system with a gentle laxative and drinking lots of water and staying away from the fast food for a week or two and eat vegetables and fruit and go for walks every day or every other day and treat yourself to a couple of early nights and do whatever you can to help with the tsunami crisis....nice clean living.....
Boots sell detox kits, drinks that you add water too.  The instructions will be on the pack but i think you just drink it and eat healthily over the period of time

I detox regularly, and I avoid wheat, dairy, meat, caffeine, alcohol, salt and sugar. To do it properly you need to do it for more than 3 days (28 days is perfect) so that your system can well and truly get rid of all the toxins. Expect headaches at first (caffeine withdrawl) and flu-like tiredness (your body is shutting down normal activity whilst it outs its energy into rebuilding you!! It's SO clever) for a few days. Then you will start to feel ridiculously energetic. You may get flare-ups of previous illnesses (rashes/cattarh etc) but this is just the toxins coming out. Eventually you will feel so much fitter; your skin will glow and you really won't want to go back to putting all that nasty stuff in your body. The best thing is to read Carol Vodrerman's Detox books.

Cooking is not hard- just use basic ingredients and cook fresh food every day, rather than eating processed stuff.
