Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Do you see the glass as half full or half empty?
Do you take leaps of faith, if so what have you done?
Do you play it safe and, if so, do you wonder what if?

i am most definately an optimist. my hubby is a pessimist, so we balance each other out nicely. also;
i like tea - he likes coffee
i'm a cat person and he a doggy lover
i'm quite loud and outgoing - he's really shy
i spend (no surprises there, eh?!) - he saves
i like football and diy - he is artistic and creative
i like to think we are two halves of a whole and for my optimistic nature, life has taught me that no matter how bad things get, it always works itseld out in the end!

An optimist has expectations which are unrealistically high (otherwise he would be a realist).
If you think of yourself as an optimist, then you must be conscious of your expectations being too high. Therefore you are either a realist or a pessimist.
So ... anybody who claims to be an optimist is, logically, not a true optimist.
