MM Links Solutions June 2008 [Week 2]

This second week in the extended reign of The Dinky Duke began with a locked keyboard, but back-up is always at hand and the launch was not affected to any significant degree. Using a theme based on Sports Day, I can now reveal the chosen links as being:

OBSTACLE Race
WINNING Team
FAST Lane
Circuit JUDGE

The scoring this week proved slightly higher and mainly for the early birds!

The first to be claimed was FAST LANE, when AllyLally arrived as Entrant #1 to claim TWO POINTS closely followed by Alibobs wishing to be part of the WINNING TEAM. Within the two-minute window came x-ray & Dustybun hurtling down the same Fast Lane to claim their bonus points.

Another of the early successes came in the form of Aquagility with Fast Lane and a brand new link CIRCUIT JUDGE to claim a massive FOUR POINTS and hence to be nominated as HOT SHOT OF THE WEEK.

With the third link gone, there were still bonus points to be had and paulineward, jools, beejay1124 & slaney all picked up TWO POINTS for early hits. Amongst the single hits I would like to mention Prescott who managed to find two of the four links ~ Well Done!

However, we had to wait until 11.40 before kettledrum provided OBSTACLE RACE (as Entrant #37) and claimed the last scalp! Only BigMac scored from this particular link word.
