How do you set your profile so that it doesnt show you oin line?

click on the little chat thing in the bottom right and in the bit that pops up select go offline

no not that bit - in general!
You know when you select see friends on line? Well you can set it so that you dont show up there!

I don't think you can, if it's anywhere it will be under the privacy setting up in the top right hand corner, but i've just looked and can't see anything that might do it.

Think your friends may always be able to tell your online. though these days with always on internet think most people realise that just becouse your showing as online somewhere doesn't mean you are actually anywhere near the computer, I'm normally shown online 24/7

the offline at the bottom on the chat thing does stop you being shown as online at the top too, I've just tested it... It takes a few minutes to update though.
