Cheese on chips.Hmmm, never ever tried that.
As cazzz, says it may seem a little greasy. But,I may give it a go one day, perhaps!!
Anyway, here's a lady who seems to crave for cheesy chips!!
Lol....
What I like best on my chips,is a slight sprinkling of salt and vinegar, and good traditional tomato ketchup!
Mind you , there's nothing wrong with experimenting!!
I'm also quite partial to a great chip buttie with some tomato ketchup in it!!
Yumm....
Uniquely a west coast/west lothian invention I think Legend - I had never experienced it until we moved west of Edinburgh. Another healthy choice from the scots again isn't it!
Sorry, meant to say that a very finely grated medium cheddar or red leicester on top of home made spicy potato wedges is the dogs - especially as part of a salad with Prawn Marie rose and spring onion. Mmmmmm!
Grated cheese on chips seemed to be the favourite choice of the kids at the secondary school I worked at! There were all sorts of healthy options available, but cheese on chips won out all the time.
Us bloody scots get everywhere - even infiltrated the Turks now - next thing you know they will be selling Kebabs in Scotland......wait a minute.......!!!!!
Maybe the Scots diet is the best weapon that that we have against the taliban and Al -quada. If we can infiltrate and start getting them into chip butties, sugar pieces, deep fried mars bars etc, then they will be too lethargic to fight and will start dying of in their millions - we of course are immune having genetically evolved to survive on such a diet.
Yep think its regional, scotland big fan of cheese and chips, in liverpool its chips and gravy, even have gravy on fish in some parts,in the posh places ie the south its with mayonaisse, curry sauce is very northern!!!!yorkshire are noted for asking for scraps with there chips!
