what do you call it?

i have notice some houses with a plastic or pvc edging to their roof tiles (on the side eaves of house) which prevents rainwater from running off the tiles and directs it into the guttering.
I am trying to find this on google but dont know what ita called.
any body have any ideas?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.it's called dry verge, you can get varius types, its better to have them mounted on facia board as apposed to brickwork, because they can allow rainwater to run down the wall if not installed correctly. I would stick to the traditional undercloak and verge. Try the link below for more info
