My nan had one, dont know who made it
no
my gran didn't but my neighbours had one of those 'spanish dancer' ones

fluffy you just reminded me of summit .
new thread due lol.
Mr CRX and i bought one for his nephew when he left for uni last summer.
its was lovely, a nice peach / pink one with a leggy blonde

Do you know the modern ones (as we bought) also have little knitted pockets for small guest toiletries like shampoo and soap.
but no-one ever used the toilet roll in it
Both my Nan and Mum had one.

But like 4get, no one used the roll in it.

I think when I left home, I was presented with one which promptly found it's way to the bin!!!! Lol.
i hope nephew hasnt binned his, students are always running out of loo roll so i bet it gets used too. His brother got a teapot cosy.

what i really wanted to find (sadly i gave mine away lol) was one of those big picture clocks that have a fake velvet case around them and gold plastic hands with a butterfly on.
my mum gave me one of those hideous celery holders with the face on it when I moved out as a joke I;d rather have had a loo roll thing. My mate has one in her bathroom and I dont know whether to ask if its for a joke or not
Question Author
I had one of them clocks thankfully i lost it ihn the divorce.

oh 4get! i would rather have had the celery pot than the clock!
leg, you did well to lose it like that, it took me years to dispose of mine as i wanted it to go to a good home :)
my mates neighbour had bought her a clock that was kind of plastic with a swirl pattern and a big Pendulum and they had to put it up as not to hurt their feelings
Question Author
The clock was well gotten rid of along with other various nick nacks and trash .
all those hideous things made from shells I used to buy for my mum poor woman
Question Author
omg i just remembered
