Hiya, i'm looking to buy a personal radio for about �15 - �20, however i don't mind paying a little more for one if it's really good. Any recomendations?

what sort, headphone only?, speakers?

A lot of phones have radios on them now

Err.... just one that i can listen to when i'm out and about, so i guess it would have to have headphones. I need one with a good signal as i like kiss 100, but living in Chelmsford it can somtimes be hard to find a good signal. Thanks for responding so soon, i normally have to wait days for a answer! xxx

you could try a DAB radio to get kiss in Chelmsford as you are right the kiss signal isn't too hot round that area (I'm colchester)

If it is a DAB radio i would look at the ones by Roberts or Pure.
I read that the radios by Roberts which are wooden cased are still British made.

the link I put up is a Roberts one, though as rebecca wants one for out and about I think the wooden cased radios may not be to practical.

oh and I just checked I get KISS fine on my DAB radio, and I'm another 15 miles along the A12 from London than you.

problem is I really don't think you will get a decent kiss reception in chelmsford on a normal FM radio.

oh no! I don't know what to do, i went in to sony and the man said that it's harder to get a signal on a dab but the sound is better. i'm confused, all i went is some sexy music i can go shoping to :-(

Do you think if i can't get a good singal on the one you surgested ChuckFickens i could take it back?
