I actualy am embarsssed for English supporters for this comment
I -as as a Scot support ANY team in Europe-however it has to be said that Scotland made mincemeat of the group they were in and any football supporter would agree.

I just think the poll is really bizarre abd it does annoy me a bit cos its really one sided and yet again its all about England -even the English get fed up with it.

Could you please explain further as I was under the impression that you failed to qualify hence not one of the top 2 teams in it??

Well they beat France and Italy -France being the holders of the current World Cup.

This wasnt an anti English post -more I was perplexed why the current poll was just about England and if you dont appreciate football then you wont appreciate that Scotland excelled in the 'group of death'.

Had they been in an 'easier' group then they would have qualified because they played to an exceptionally high standard.

They were -as I said unlucky -but we are not sore losers as we have had plenty practise.

Shame people have to post in an obtuse manner.

However -it was all about the poll in the first place and I still dont understand it -despite having received replies.
