Hi Marsh, good suggestions, petrel is already used (8)

Roller, it's a good Idea, but like you i don't think it's the right one, all the clues have been pretty sharp, it would be a bit vague for Roller, I would expect something more like "heavy wave" "Big Swell" etc, but you never know, sometimes even quiz masters run out of Ideas.
