ACCA? can you clear my fear?

i am totally interested in pursuing my acca qualification. i m a bit confused here in that i want a degree in acounting as well.is it relevant to follow the acca pathway and also opt for the oxford brookes degree after the part two exams?is it worth it? is it possible to enter for the part 1 exams after just six months of lectures and make it? how long conveniently will i need to read for a particular stage of the exams?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.by doing a degree in accounting you will normally end up being part qualified by the ACCA at the end (but check with the individual institutions when applying). After this point you would need to do the other half of the ACCA qualifications, usually when you are working - that way your employer may well pay the tuition bills. generally people in work seem to do 2 sections of this a term (with 10 weeks) but you can do more or less. I agree that the degree is a useful thing to do and probably a lot more fun than just doing ACCA exams all the time - oh and they are really desperately incredibly hard... good luck
