"These message boards are for discussions and are not to be used to market, sell, or promote any product, service, project or organisation".
This brought forth from you a denial of the written rules in the following terms:-
"While we appreciate greatly the efforts of all and any users to keep this large and lively site doing what it's supposed to do, on this occasion sludge is interpreting matters in too strict a manner, to the detriment of the spirit of The Answerbank".
You quite falsely allege that I am responsible for damage and disadvantage to Answerbank. If this sorry state of affairs does exist is it not an undeniable fact that the responsibility for it is entirely yours, and yours alone, for not upholding the rules of Answerbank written down by your Employers for you to administer? And is it not also an undeniable fact that to escape from the consequences of your own very obvious weakness you have baselessly and quite improperly directed opprobrium at me?
You say that you have written to me, but I have received nothing from you. I do not desire to hear secretly from you. For the avoidance of doubt, therefore, would you most kindly (a) publish in reply for all to see whatever it is that you wrote to me (b) add a paragraph explaining how the written rules of Answerbank are to be understood whilst you are employed there, and (c) withdraw unconditionally your entirely false and libellous statement that I am responsible for damage and disadvantage to Answerbank.

As for the rest of your comments: you suggest I have acted falsely, that "this sorry state of affairs" is my responsibility, that I haven't upheld the rules, that I have "very obvious weakness", am baseless, have acted improperly and that I have written a "false and libellous statement" about you.
Thanks, but none of this is true. Note: It is unnecessary for you to repeat, enlarge on or add to these statements.
I suggest you (and everyone else) returns to asking and answering questions on this site. If you (or anyone else) don't like it here, you are not obliged to stay.
We do, of course, reserve the right to ban any user who breaches the Terms Of Use of the site.
Sludge - I thought this issue had been 'put to bed', but now you have raised it again, I feel compelled to reply. You only have to peruse this site to see that you have 'rattled' a lot of peoples cages on AB.
Also - with reference to your second paragraph above, you have chosen to leave part of your initial post out. It actually read:
para 1."The Answerbank Message Boards Rules.....
para 2. These message boards......
para 3. This question by Smudge is totally improper, therefore, and no answer should be given".

My response was: "What comes around goes around". Now that it has, you can't cope with it. If you don't like critisism - don't keep dishing it out to others. Try thinking before posting then you would not be in this situation. P.S. Why do you have to keep changing your username - I have been smudge since that day I joined AB & intend to keep it that way.
