LifeCam 1.1

Last January I purchased a webcam - MS LifeCam 1.1 which was running fine on my laptop under Windows. Unfortunately, said lappie died and I purchased a new pc (not a lappie this time) which came preinstalled with Vista OS.... Does anyone know how I can get my webcam to work on this particular pc as the cd that came with the webcam keeps giving me error messages when I try to install it.... I suspect I need to download a suitable driver - I've googled all this but gotten nowhere fast !

The driver for my Lifecam 1.1 didn't appear on the list but a driver for a V1.4 was on their, so I downloaded that instead and now have a fully functional (but as yet untried) webcam !
