My period was due about a week  and a half abgo.  Two weeks ago I started getting the 'signs' the Aunt Flo was coming for a visit soon, but I guess her plane got delayed or something becuase I still havn't gotten it yet.  My breasts are very sore and tender and seem to have grown a little more than they normaly to before my period.  I've heard of people having early monopause, but this is a bit TO early to possibly be meopause and I can't possibly be pregnant.  Is there something wrong with me or am I just overreacting?

It does sound like signs of early pregnancy but you say there is no chance of that either way i would pop to the doctors, its not unusual for your body to mess you about in this way so dont worry too much!!

Good luck and keep optimistic x x

This does just happen sometimes! You could be more stressed than you think you are, as that plays a big part sometimes. How old are you?

I'd go with Wonky's advice and have a chat with your doctor. It's the best way of putting your mind at rest. Unfortunately as Scarlett said, worry and stress does upset the body in many ways, menstrual delays being one of them.

Good luck

This happened to me. I went to see the Doctor when I was 14 days overdue and she was very reassuring. She made me do a pregnancy test at the clinic, but that was negative (as I knew it would be!). She said that I was too young for the menopause but that it was not uncommon for this to happen. However, I was to return if nothing had happened by the date of what should have been my next period. What do you know - my next period came right on time but was extrememly heavy. I queried this and she said that that might happen. She told me to go back and see her if I had any more concerns about this, but since then (3 months ago) things have been back to normal. It's good to talk to a doctor about such things, but don't go searching symptoms on the internet as I did and scare yourself into thinking that something terrible is happening.
It's happened to me a few times. I've gone without periods for up to 6 months before now and apparently there was nothing wrong. I wasn't pregnant or going through the menopause. I was in my early 20's when it first happened.

Scarlett: I'm 15

Thanks for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the case the early menopause is ruled out!!

Elenya, as you are only 15 this sort of thing does happen as your hormones are still getting themselves out. It is quite common for your cycle to mess about now and again, but still have a chat with your doctor to make sure everything is ok

Take care
