staffordshire, lancashire and gloucestershire, also mentions the black country and manchester.

At a guess, some could be: Shropshire, Cheshire, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Powys, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire. Further away are Conwy, Gwynedd, Monmouthshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Cumbria, but you might have to stand on tiptoe to see them
