Not one i have tried before, but thought i'd get some advice on this.
I went to see a film last Friday (The Happening) and was immensely disappointed in it - so much so that i was tempted to walk out half way through and ask for my money back.
Does anyone know if one has a right to ask for a refund in this situation? If a film is so bad, can i request a refund as, like most folks, i go to the cinema to be entertained by a movie and was not? Or is it just a case of i go to the cinema to watch a movie and thats it?
I've always wondered where i stand on requesting a refund for a poor film.....
I can see where you're coming from but I doubt very much you'd be entitled to a refund.
When you pay the cinema you are entering into a contract, the contract is for the cinema to 'provide a service', which they provide, not the cinema to 'provide you with a service with guaranteed enjoyement'
Hi Sally, I was ignoring his thread for me but answered 4get then the dude is saying I know him? I know he's a pain, probably the Ed will ban him today though :)
Film and all art is purely personal taste - what one person loves another loathes.
I think theatres, cinemas, concert venues and galleries would quickly go bust if everyone who didn't enjoy what they saw or heard were able to request a refund.
IM NOT a cinema goer ,,,but i had seen a film critc , review this film , on tv ,,,, and he said in this film..... nothing much does HAPPEN ..... excuse the pun ...
