red special

hi and help i have got a new red special pedal for my hub but he cant get any sound to come out of it once he put the guitar lead in has anyone else got one of these or had the same problem he keeps saying its not rocket science but its proving to be.!!!

It's hard to say without seeing the setup. Has he checked that the guitar lead is working? Maybe the solder has come loose.

Is it plugged into an amp?

Is the pedal plugged into power or does it have batteries?

I see you can select outputs - is it on the right one?

Could be a faulty jack socket.

Need more detail on exactly what he's doing to give more advice.

hi thanks for reply he plays professionally and hasent done anything unusual all his stuff is working o.k leads amp etc and powersupply came with it its a new pedal and lights are on on it just cant understand it?
