Is there any place to go with adolescents at night time in N.Y.?

You could go to a Broadway show, or catch a film which has yet to come out in the UK.

 

The Empire State Building stays open quite late, or you could skate at the Rockefeller Centre ($25 each, inc. skate hire).

 

Eating wise, you could go on a dinner cruise around the island of Manhatten, or eat in one of the 'theme' restaurants in Times Square, like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. (based on the movie 'Forrest Gump'), Hard Rock Cafe, or Planet Hollywood.

 

You could also go and see the NY Rangers play ice hockey (tickets from $29.50), or the NY Knicks play basketball (tickets from $10), both at Madison Square Garden.  This venue also holds concerts.

 

Also, you could go to the Times Square Information Centre, have your photo taken at the HSBC booth, and then go outside to see your face on the massive electronic billboard 5 minutes later!
