She was supposed to be there after the break but, they said unfortunately she had to leave.

She was hilarious, but surely the TV bosses must have expected it?

i agree with you puddicat, i used to watch it but it rubbish now and guests arent on for long, i was flicking channels when i seen yesterdays episode and joan rivers was the only bit i saw.

Must admit i do enjoy joannie,but most comedians have the same routine, as they do the rounds on these kinda shows,i miss kay adams as the head of the table, cos she discussed real issues with a sprinkle of hilarity thrown in the mix, didnt have all these guests on plugging there new song, film,book or television show,Kay Adams said she wouldnt go back to front this show with its stupid format!!!

It's all on youtube now. She was told before the show that it was live, apparently, so I think she did it for effect/publicity!
