So do you want to be a forensic scientist or a driver? I can't imagine that a driver would require as many specific qualifications as a forensic scientist.
You sound very mixed up my friend...I hope you haven't been testing Skunk for you Police Forensics entrance exam ! - Sorry.

Either way I think in leaving your uni course you really sent out the wrong signals..I as an employer would look very carefully at your CV, as I wouldn't want a quitter on my team.

You should have stuck it out, and at least got a degree and then looked at graduate intake with the Police.

You want to study Forensic's I assume, so a background in a science would be a start, but also get ready to study hard to get to where you want to be.

Why not contact your local Police headquarters and ask them for advice.

1. Forensics. The vast vast majority od forensic officers (CSI) are NOT police officers but civilian specialists. So you can't be both.

2, Police Drivers. Dependong on which force you join, and where you are based you could be trained up as a response driver straight away, or have to wait a year or two.

If you can give valid reasons why you didn't want to stay at university then the fact that you dropped out shouldn't affect you.
