The Americans seem to be even worse.

Barack Obama's campaign apologised today to two Muslim women who were moved from behind the podium at a rally in Detroit earlier this week because volunteers wanted to prevent headscarves appearing in photographs and TV shots.

Doesn't this run completely counter to the whole inclusive 'one nation' idea behind Obama's campaign?

He needs to get elected and then he can start working on 'One Nation'.

If being photographed with muslim women means a Republican gets elected then it is unfortunate.

I think they are terrified of him being seen as a Muslim sympathiser in some way. It seems, from that link, that he was in fact born a Muslim so I can see the reasonning here.

Wait till the gloves come off, the elephants have som much ammo on Obama, he'll do well to shake them off. They'll major on the Muslim/terrorist angle big time.

and of course quite a lot of the "ammo" comes courtesy of Mrs Clinton!
Unlike our own politicians who constantly like to surround themselves with Muslims and other ethnics, at the very mention of there being a media camera around.
