I wouldn't bother with windows 98 mate, it's totally useless now unless you are a non internet user. Or you use it for an office. Still genuine is best and you can't get genuine products for free, unless you want a bad O.S copy.

I use windows 98 SE and have never had any trouble. It's certainly more reliable than others I know who have vista and xp.
