Where is the decimal point hiding on my keyboard/computer when I am using MS Word. For example 2 point 6. Every time I try the dot comes up on the bottom of the line as you can see 2.6 and not in the middle of the line. Can you help please

Decimal points are on the bottom of a line, however, if you did want to insert a dot in the middle of the line you could find one under Insert > Symbol, but this wouldn't work when using decimals in calculations in Excel.

Do you mean like this   55

I suggest you type number in this form 2.6 then highlight the decimal point only, go to format menu, select font and in the dialogue box that appears tick the box for superscript and decimal should be have a central vertical alignment

All you do is Alt Key + Calculator Number = Symbol.

That is Alt + 250 when you release the keys the decimal point will appear between the two numbers like this. 105
