till or 'til

I started a cross stitch project yesterday and it has a quote on it.
"Sleep till you're hungry, eat till your sleepy."
Is it just me, or should that be 'til? I'm sure the long version is "sleep until you're hungry", and because you're removing letters shouldn't it be 'til?

For instance, for this group project part of the marking was to have other groups look at your work and evaluate it. In the session we did the marking, our project got taken out of the folder and passed around. When it got back to me it was all out of order, with some pages upside down, some back to front and there was even a page missing. I looked at it, and promptly burst into tears.
