With out the discharge i'd say it could be cystitis, but with the discharge it sound more like thrush. Try drinking pleanty of water to flush out your system and ask the chemist for a cream for the itching, but get checked out by your GP to make sure it's nothing more sinister. I get both cystitis and thrush and have a idea how you feel, with the right treatment they do both go away.
It could be thrush but hard to know for sure without a doc's diagnosis. I advise that you see your GP, you can ask for a female one if you prefer. They deal with this sort of thing all the time, so don't be embarrassed.
For all medical questions, we strongly advise you to seek professional advice from your doctor or a healthcare professional.  Please do not rely on, or wait for, advice from Answerbank users.

It sounds like thrush to me, but as people have already said you are best to get it checked out by your GP.

ok so i gues i rly should go and see a doctor then! : ) well the porblem is about that is what do i say? i really havent got a clue wot to say.

thank you all for your answers : ) x

lizzie don't worry. Doctors are used to stuff like this and they appreciate it if you just tell them straight rather than wait until you're putting your coat on before mentioning the real problem.   You can ask to see a woman GP if you have one at the practice. That's what I did when I had a "female problem".
