Does anyone understand The Users Manual of this devise, as I have got a headache trying to myself. What scart goes where? and how do you get the thing to transfer VCR tapes to DVD`s. Please help me before I top myself. Boo-hoo-hoo Pleeeeese. (In step- by -step instructions ) Where are you ACtheTroll & Chuck Fickens, Ethel, veryhelpfulguy, anyone?

Is it a Vistron? There are several with the model number format. Is it a combined vcr/dvd unit?

Hello Ethel, Thanks for the link, and yes it is the `Vistron` but No, I can`t find any information in regard to its operation. I have Goog;ed it by inserting the Model No DVR -5006 should that be of any help. I just can`t get my head around their instructions in the book supplied.

Latest update-.-.-.-.-My son has just found a way of tranfering tapes to DVD a lot easier and using my old equipment so I`m returning the `Vistron` cr@p. Thanks anyway Ethel.

Hi Ethel. My son say`s...."Connect VCR to DVD recorder via VCR out to DVD in with a scart lead, but,leave the scrt in your TV and then press Play and rec`d. HTH. It works fine on mine.
