Plumbing - water bubbling up into shower

I have suddenly developed a problem in my shower room when toilet is flushed water is bubbling up in the shower Also there is a lot of bubbling up of water to the shower when it is not being used I can hear it when I am down stairs. I live in a semi next door have had a conservatory built over drain a few weeks ago could this have created the problem or is it a coinsidence

Depending on where the blockage within the sewer is, your neighbour may be experiencing the same issues. Besides your toilet & shower, all other drain points within your property may be effected � possibly resulting in effluent emerging from your sinks or other plumbed in appliances.
My property suffered a similar problem, which was due to Leylandii roots breaching sewer pipes, causing the blockage.
I would not like to be in your neighbour�s conservatory when the inspection cover is lifted.
