My daughter's 11 and she's tried quite a few after school activities that were quite short lived. What's your daughter interested in? My kids at the moment do swimming lessons after school at the local pool. My daughter could swim, but as her school don't take them swimming she enrolled to have lessons at the same time as my 2 youngest. She loves it, as she's doing all life-saving techniques now.
She did try guitar lessons which she loved, and after spending a bit of money on a guitar, she decided she didn't quite like it as much as she thought!!(luckily we managed to sell the guitar).
She has asked to do a martial arts course of some kind, and in this day and age we thought a bit of self defence might be a good thing. But then my boys also wanted to do it as well, and quite frankly, we can't afford for all of them to do it right now.
I hope you have more luck.

Depends what is available in your area.
Swimming, musical instrument and martial arts are all goo suggestions as above.
Also, what about drama, dancing, scouts or guides, athletics or other sport, join the golf or tennis club, helping out at the local kids football team training, camera club etc.
It is worth seeing what is available through your council, local arts centres, community centres, churches (you don't have to be religous) and schools. There are alo lots of professional companies that run youth drama groups etc.
You just need to hunt about and also ask your daughter what activities her friends do.
Hope you get something suitable. I think you posted before about her being shy, maybe a performing arts class might boost her confidence - if you can get a friend to go as well that may help. Try lobbying her friends first and they may persuade her better than you can.
