fiat punto stopping

my fiat punto will cut out after a mile or after 15 minutes idleing. it will not restart until i disconnect the battery and then start straight away. please help !!!

its not the alarm/immobilser interferring with the ignition system is it ? ( i had a car , that the alarm used to go of - and it wouldnt allow me t start the car , again , - unless i disconeected the battery , re connected , and then it would fire up again )
