My next door neighbour who was an unmarried mother of about 17yrs, moved in with her hoodie loud mouthed b/f about 3 years ago.
They have been a problem since day one with loud disturbances, an early morning drug raid and continuous loud music.
Tonight I was shocked when I went into my kitchen at 9pm, and heard him trying to teach the little girl of about 3/4yrs to '' Call Daddy A Fu(king W@nker ''
The little girl was giggling and he said to his g/f, '' wouldn't it be funny if she shouted that out from the window''.
If I report it to the social services they will want proof, which I don't have.
What else can I do?

problem is that although every morally sensible person in the world would know that teaching a 3/4 year old to call daddy a fcuking w@nker is wrong, and probably a very good indication of the bad upbringing that poor child will get, it's not going to be enough to get social services interested!
Social services will not be interested, and she will end up being the sort of person that has no idea of what decent behavior is when she grows up,
I understand your concern about the child, but unless they are physically beating her social services (wrongly!) will not care!
It's a sad and sorry state we live in!

i can see where you are coming from , but at the end of the day , as long as the child is clothed an fed scocial services dont give a ***** , the children are better off with there disfunctoinal parents , the blame the parents (when its too late ) we all know that its not right how children are being treated sometimes , but try and tell the powers that be that .
I would just bloody go them -those sort usually back down -I definitily would say something but then you have the dilemna -the respect dilemna -they will start asking you in during the day to share the Scrumpy Jack -cos you stood up to them so youre one of them -and I dont jest and im not being flippant.Hmm -would still say something tho !!
Nothing you can do atall.
Go to their door if you want , do you have a stab vest?
Sadly theyre in their own domain and if the kids not being mistreated either physically or sexually i cant see social services doing anything about the language even if youve got it on film.
So its a case of put up with it, or move house i reckon.
DTH?

Its emotional abuse, not only the swearing but if there is continous noise how is the kid getting undistrubed sleep? Does she go to a nursery or playgroup? You could contact a member of staff there. If not then contact social services, I think with all the bad press they have lately, they need to at least invistigate each complaint. & its better than regretting not doing anything!
