Well, on an opposite note, I've got a Hoover Hnf 2137 and although the machine is ok, the powder and fabric conditioner drawer get really clogged and gunged up. I thought it was the powder I use, but my mum has the same machine and uses different powder and conditioner and hers does the same. I have to scrape and clean the drawer out every 2 weeks. So I wouldn't recommend one.
I think the second option is the best chuck cos if it does conk out after 3 years, it's cost you about a quid a week, if it lasts longer, then that's a bonus.
pete.
the engineer said something in the back broken (didnt understand most of words :(((), can be fixed but may take half day to do the job, also need get new parts, so he suggested me to get a new one.
they sell re condition ones too, pretty cheap, but not sure about the quality, think better to get a brand new one. my budget is 300, is that realistic for a decent one?
apparently
ariston go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on ..............
Only thing that could take that long and be that expensive would be bearings gone (is it really noisy by any chance?)
these days it is pretty much the best option to go for the cheapest you can find and view it as disposable after the first couple of years.
P.S. If it is bearings it's 25-30 quid for parts and I'd charge about 50 for the work privately, so from a companys point of view you'd be looking at 100-150 for it... cheaper to get another machine.
