oven temperatures

my (gas) oven has temperature numbers 1 to 9.  I need to put something in the oven at 100 degrees centigrades.  Does anyone know what number that would be please?

Hiya,

I have checked lables on the foods I have in my fridge and it looks like 180 is Gas 4, 190 Gas 5, 200 Gas 6, etc, etc. You will be looking at being Gas mark 1/4 for 100 degrees - this is really low and might not show up on your cooker.  I would go for 1 and see how things go - you might have to reduce the cooking time.

Yes it's a 1/4. Hardly worth having the oven on!
