anyone in the area theya re talking about? do you think that you should be compensated for having to buy water, or boil it thus using electricity?after all water bills are high enough and you dont expect this to happen, especially with all the technology we have

I think that people affected do get some sort of compensation, doubtful they will pay for bottled water if it truly is safe after boiling.

Ive heard nothing about this. Where abouts is affected?
I'm in kingsthorpe, the reservoir thats the source of the contamination is not far from us
Move to Northern ireland - we don't have to pay water bills...yet!

gina,
Please advise your daughter to be careful if buying bottled water for making feeds, there are certain ones that cant be used i beleive.

I hope it sorted for you all soon. Having a 9 week old i know how much i rely on clean tap water

redcrx, she isnt using bottled water for her feeds, what i meant was when she sterilies the bottles she has to first boil the water and then put it in the steriliser and then in the microwave. apparently it could be up to 6 weeks before its sorted!
