I have a job interview at a retail store and the manager asked me to bring two references. The problem is that i have no job or volunteer experience and i have never participated in any camp or sport events, so i don't know who i can use as a reference. I wanted to use my teacher, but now that school is out; that option is impossible. I wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions on any people that are suitable as references, im kinda hesitant to use friends and family? Any Ideas??????

References should be from someone who can vouch for your honesty/reliability and dilligence. Your local shop-keeper, barber/hairdresser, publican anyone who runs a business and can call themselves a director.

That should put the 'shop manager' in his place!
