Trying to apply for a job locally and have applied for three, but having just looked on my county website and there are 5 more going that I would like to apply for! (all the same position in different schools).

I've never applied for so many and not sure of the etiquette for applying for job? How many is too many?

What happens if I get offered more than one job (if I'm lucky enough), what's the etiquette involved here?

Sooo stressed now!

Gosh, you really are in the wrong work place. You ought to at least be able to treat people with the courtesy you would like to receive yourself. If you did that, you may get a more positive response. Sounds like you dont come across as a very nice person. Get a new job. Get a life. Good luck.
Eek! Not quite sure what jonesy means?!

When I was looking for a job, I applied to as many as I could possibly find that was suitable. Luckily, one of them turned out ok.

The more applications you send off, the better your chances.

You sound like a nice person to me. Ignore the troll.
No etiquette needed.....apply for everything and take what suits u. Most employers would prefer a 'happy worker'! Also income and travel costs need to be considered.....so, its where u are happiest.
I agree with terambulan and squarebear - apply for all the jobs and you will maximise your chances.
Good luck!

Fingers crossed though ;0)
I didn't know there was an etiquette Andrea - what do you do for a living? I'm only admin type work so it doesn't really matter. I usually just apply for as many as humanly possible :-)

Good luck!

Hi Andrea. I sure didn't mean to add to your woes. Sorry. But you conveyed to me, almost despair of your current situation. I have been there-honest. I had to sit myself down, be honest with myself, and come up with a better formulae. And I did end with the wish- Good Luck! I reckon tomorrow will be a better day for you. A couple of your friends had a go at me on another theme (Society) so you also have the bonus of support. Keep plugging. And really gal-Good Luck.(I,m really old, and we said "gal" in my day!!
