How do I convert Protected itunes to WAV
2 Answers
I'm trying to convert a protected MPEG4 track from my itunes library to WAV. I've downloaded various softwares that claim to do so. But when I search through my music it will not let me open the track OR even appear - just the folder. I'm sure I've converted them before but can't remember how.

You could also try clicking & dragging the converted files from their containing folder window into iTunes (not certain but I think you need to drop them on your library in the left hand panel), and to make sure that they are in fact converted correctly, try opening them in another media player, like VLC.
As for programs that convert the protected files, the one I've always used and had no issues with is SoundTaxi, although it does cost $20.
