Can you wear jeans to the phoenix theatre london? If not what sort of clothes whould I wear?

Sure. Tuxedos would probably stand out a bit, as would nakedness. Anything in between should be fine; jeans to smart casual to suits is the normal range.

People used to dress up to go to the theatre especially in the West End.  Unfortunately, many people don't even bother to tidy themselves up.

although i dont know the phoenix,

you can wear casual wear at ust aboutany theatre.

the lights are off most of the time and people should be concentgrating on the play

i have nt seen anyone turned away

 

 

I was wearing shorts and t shirt at the B'ham hippodrome, and then one of the punters keeled over at the gin bar,and no-one kinda said,

oh you cant do external cardiac massage wearing shorts.....
