Will Heathrow and other British Airports with the introduction of new generation long distance Airplanes?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.As a regular, non-UK based traveller, Heathrow has 2 redeeming features - I need to go to London and BA (a top airline) use it as a hub. The ultra long range planes may mean I can save a few hours to the USA, but I'd still probably fly via the UK (or Tokyo, depending which way round I went).
Have you spend 16 hours on a plane? Not something I can recommend!
To stay ahead, London needs to be a financial centre and Heathrow needs to look at Singapore Changi or Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok to learn how airports can actually be nice places to be
